SCP-096

SCP-096, nicknamed "The Shy Guy," is an extremely dangerous humanoid entity whose behavior is generally passive when it is not being observed. The entity stands approximately 2.4 meters tall and possesses an abnormally thin body, excessively long arms, and completely pale skin. SCP-096 spends most of its time wandering slowly or sitting motionless with its face hidden in its hands. However, when a person sees its face, even briefly or through a photograph, SCP-096 enters a state of uncontrollable rage. Once triggered, the creature instantly identifies the individual who viewed its face and begins moving toward them at terrifying speed. No known obstacle appears capable of stopping SCP-096. The entity can cross walls, buildings, and difficult terrain to reach its target. Once the victim is located, SCP-096 becomes extremely violent before eventually returning to its passive state. The SCP Foundation considers SCP-096 one of the most dangerous anomalies ever discovered because of how easily it can be triggered and how nearly impossible it is to escape once targeted.
